Cap made of laurel leaves (1920s)

The cap was donated to the Folk Life Museum in 1925 by a former aristocratic family from the region of Murau. It was probably was part of an amateur home theater. Similar crowns were used in religious processions and folk theaters.

Linen, painted in tempera or gouache, possibly varnished
