Mission Mutter Teresa: Auf Tuchfühlung mit der katholischen Kirche
(Mission Mother Teresa: Unveiling the Catholic Church)

Performance

The world is becoming more complex, conflicts are increasing, everything seems hopeless—not for KRA. KRA faces every crisis. KRA solves every conflict. KRA knows that there are always the simplest solutions to the most complicated problems. KRA gives hope, KRA helps.

And there is so much faith in every hope. And every hope needs a symbol. And what symbol combines faith and hope better than Mother Teresa, patron saint of the poor and weak, Nobel Peace Prize winner, icon, holiest of saints—goodness personified, no?

KRA’s projects are interdisciplinary, long-term works that straddle the line between documentary fiction, exuberant satire, and political action. A black-humored examination of paternalistic perspectives in contemporary European art, its questionable rescue narratives, and an essentially “apolitical politicization” of art manifests itself in preconceived positions.
