Everything’s spick-and-span, pristine, polished, correct, super, well-behaved, great, beautiful, lovely, nice, sporty, successful, individual, really great, creative (but not too much), devoid of content, and without a soul. A character is looking for her identity. She has a house and a job. That’s it. Nothing more. That’s all there is to say; that’s all there is to tell. Sometimes she waves, but not that often. But we still like to look at her. Preferably desaturated and in portrait format. We hope she will rebel, but instead, we see ads.
FILM BEIGE is a film performance that blends theater and experimental cinema dedicated to the digital representation of our lives as it is presented to us en masse. Come, see, and be outraged. Or not.
